¹⁵ From there he went to fight against the people of Debir. The name of Debir had been Kiriath-sepher before. ¹⁶ Caleb said, “I will give my daughter Achsah as a wife to the one who fights against Kiriath-sepher and takes it.” ¹⁷ Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb’s brother, took it. So Caleb gave him his daughter Achsah as a wife.
